Opportunities in the Energy Transition
OGUK in partnership with Scottish Enterprise present: Opportunities in the Energy Transition
The UK’s offshore oil and gas sector has been at the forefront of the energy transition, making big strides in repositioning the UK for the carbon neutral future. As an industry that has been changing for some time, companies now need to capture every opportunity that this journey to net zero presents.
Join OGUK’s Sustainability Director Michael Tholen to hear about the sector’s role in the energy transition and how OGUK members are ideally placed to support the decarbonisation of the energy mix.
OGUK Supply Chain and Operators Director Katy Heidenreich is set to provide an overview of the work underway to create a 21st century, skilled energy supply chain.
Attendees will also hear from Andy McDonald (Scottish Enterprise’s Head of Low Carbon Transition) and David Rennie (SDI’s Head of Energy) to explain how the supply chain can access Scottish Enterprise support for new opportunities in the low carbon sector and how the SDI offer is expanding in the new energy landscape.
